Customer Care Rep.
Bart Baumeister, Director of Sales and Marketing
Culligan of Carroll, Atlantic, Percival, and Ida Grove.
Keeping your reps busy has and always will be one of the hardest tasks we have as managers. Seeing that first hand, we knew we needed to find other opportunities for a rep to get into homes and keep them moving. This presentation will show the differences between the traditional sales rep and a customer care rep., how these additions/changes can impact your business, how to track it, and how to promote it.
As Director of Sales and Marketing for multiple Culligan dealerships, Bart Baumeister hires, trains, and manages all of their customer care representatives. He also handles all aspects of marketing within the dealerships, as well as within the co-ops, acting as treasurer for both the Des Moines and Omaha co-ops. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Parkside with a bachelor's degree in Finance and the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a bachelor's degree in Business. Bart has an extensive retail background which helped him gain a good understanding of sales and marketing. He joined his father and brother in 2004 as a sales rep, and moved up the ladder as his knowledge with Culligan grew. After making the change to his current position, he has made many improvements to their marketing program. He also made a change from "sales reps" to customer care reps. which have improved many things from customer service down to keeping a rep longer by giving them more opportunities in a home.
